This is the story of the Jovanović family from Pančevo
The Jovanović family is a single mother, Gordana, and her four underage children: Zoran, Kristijan, Sanela and Šerifa. They live in very hard conditions, without running water or a bathroom, in a house with only two small rooms.
Because the children are still too young to look after themselves, Gordana cannot work – there is no one else to care for them. The family’s only income is social assistance (25,000 RSD) and a child allowance (16,000 RSD), which is truly not enough for a family of five to get by.
What the Jovanović family needs most is food and hygiene supplies. They need the help and support of all of us!
