Who we are
About us
We are a humanitarian non-governmental organization whose goal is to help at-risk children and families in Serbia. Since 2019, we have been helping our children get what they need.
How did we start?
The humanitarian organization “Pomoć Srpskoj Deci” (Help for Serbian Children) was founded in 2019 by a group of successful citizens who worked, or still work, abroad – a group that has not forgotten its roots or where it started, and that wants to help at-risk children have a future. Since its founding, our organization has been made up of a group of 30 people, some living abroad and some living and working in Serbia. More and more people join us every day, because the need for help keeps growing.
Where are we now?
Since our founding, a large number of volunteers have joined the humanitarian organization “Pomoć Srpskoj Deci” – people of goodwill who want to help us carry out our mission. We have also been supported by many public figures who, through their work, strive to present our organization to the world in the best possible light.
Our mission
To help all children in Serbia have a normal and happy childhood.
Our program
Our main program is children’s education, so that they receive a quality, valuable education they can put to good use.
“Don’t look away – GET INVOLVED!”
With the goal of helping at-risk children in Serbia, our organization launched the campaign “Don’t look away – GET INVOLVED!”. The campaign was started to raise awareness among all the people of our country, as well as among everyone who has left it in search of a better life. As the saying goes, “Samo Sloga Srbija Spašava” (only unity saves Serbia) – we all need to come together and help our country have a future. There is no shame in someone going without, especially when it comes to the basic necessities of life; the shame is in seeing it and looking away. So don’t turn your head or look the other way – get involved. Children are our future, so let’s give Serbia a future.
