This is the Živanović family’s story
We met the Živanović family in 2019. At that time, their mother Bojana was raising her three children on her own: Slađan (born 2012), Slađana (born 2013) and Andrej (born 2016).
Since then, Bojana has entered a common-law partnership. She and her partner had a daughter, Jovana (born 2021).
Bojana doesn’t work, because there is no one else to look after the children and take care of them. Sometimes she goes with her partner to do day labor, but when she does, she has to bring the children along. In the meantime, Bojana has fallen ill. She has cardiovascular problems.
They receive neither child allowance nor social assistance. The father of Slađan, Slađana and Andrej does not pay child support.
The family’s monthly income is uncertain, because everything depends on work.
Their average monthly income is about 30,000 RSD, which is truly not enough for this family of six to get by.
The children go to school. The oldest son walks 13 km every day.
They live in an old, run-down house. They have no bathroom.
What the Živanović family needs most is help with basic groceries and hygiene supplies.
The Živanović family is in a difficult situation, and they truly need our help!
