This is the Stevanović family’s story
We met the nine-member Stevanović family from Surdulica on July 26, 2019.
Valentina and Miroslav have six children together: Mirjana, Emilija, Mihajlo, Aleksandar and Aleksandra, and Luka.
Sadly, five years ago this family lost its pillar and its greatest support.
Miroslav passed away suddenly.
The family is fighting the hardest battle of all – the battle to survive – and they urgently need our help!
They live in an old, run-down house full of damp.
Their mother Valentina works as a cleaner. Apart from her salary, their only income is child allowance of 15,000 RSD. They do not qualify for social assistance.
These little fighters are going through a hard struggle, and they deserve our help!
