This is the Stančulj family’s story
The story of the Stančulj family from Kajtasovo near Vršac could not leave anyone indifferent.
Let us remember that Ivana, Ilija and Marina lost their father 13 years ago, and recently their mother also died of lung cancer. After their mother’s death, the children were left on their own and lived in very poor and unsanitary conditions.
Their house, a whole century old, was old, run-down, full of damp, cold, and without electricity, water or a bathroom.
The children lived on the edge of survival, and their older sister and her husband took over their care for the time being.
The project “Kuća od srca” (“A House from the Heart”) shows that good and humane people exist.
Thanks to this TV show and project, the Stančulj family’s house was renovated and fully adapted to the needs of a family.
After poverty and the hard life story of losing both parents, the children finally have normal conditions for living and going to school.
We want to say that we are very glad that the family’s life has improved and that the children finally have the roof over their heads they deserve.
Sadly, the Stančulj family still needs our help.
The family is currently not receiving social assistance. They have submitted all the necessary documents and are waiting for a decision.
What the Stančulj family needs most is help with food, hygiene products and clothes.
This family of three is fighting a very hard battle to survive, and our help is essential to them!
