This is the Ratković family’s story
We met the Ratković family from Kuršumlija on August 29, 2019.
Dragan is a single father of four children (Radivoje (14), Nemanja (13), Dušanka (12), Milica (10)).
Father Dragan had to quit his job to take care of his son with a disability. The oldest son has a severe intellectual disability. He also suffers from epilepsy. Lately the seizures have become more frequent and now come every two days.
Their only income is the child allowance and the caregiver allowance, which is truly not enough for this family of five to survive.
In the meantime, father Dragan’s health has also worsened. He has high blood sugar and high blood pressure.
The family lives in constant fear of how they will manage to feed themselves in these hard times.
Besides basic groceries and hygiene products, they also need diapers for the oldest son with a disability, as well as clothes.
These little fighters are fighting a hard battle and deserve our help!
