This is the story of the Stevanović family from Jagodina
This is the Stevanović family from the village of Bunar near Jagodina. They need our help – and the help of all of you!
The Stevanović family is made up of father Aleksej and his son Anđelko.
Aleksej is a single father. He left his job in August 2022 so he could be with his child, because the boy did not want to live with his mother. After the divorce, custody went to the mother, but because the boy was so deeply attached to his father, he was in a difficult emotional state. Being separated from his father was very hard on him.
The father gave up the job he had at the time to help his son get through this hard period. On top of all that, the boy had eyelid surgery and a hernia operation.
They live in an old, run-down house, and because of financial hardship they cannot make the necessary repairs and provide even basic living conditions.
The family truly needs our help and is grateful for everything!
Father Aleksej says they need help with food the most. He would also like us to help them repair the house.
