This is the Biserčić family’s story
The Biserčić family from Kragujevac is single mother Katarina and her two children, Mihajlo and Mila. We have been by their side since 2019.
Because of health problems, Katarina cannot work at the moment. The family’s only steady income is social assistance of 9,600 dinars a month, and the children’s father pays child support only occasionally, as he has no steady job either.
Their house is damp and mold keeps forming on the walls, worst of all in the room where the children sleep. Mihajlo has laryngitis and allergic asthma, and these conditions make his health even worse.
What the family needs
- basic groceries – their most urgent need right now,
- clothes and shoes for the children,
- school supplies.
We buy exactly what the family needs and deliver it in person, and after the campaign we publish the story and photos.
